What happens after you get in touch
A short conversation
We'll ask what the room is for, roughly what the wall looks like, and whether you're working against a deadline like a closing or a rental certification. That's usually enough to tell you which price range you're in.
An on-site measurement
Free, typically 30 to 45 minutes. We measure the existing net clear opening, the sill height above the finished floor, the wall construction and thickness, and the grade and access outside. We'll look at where water currently goes, too.
An itemized quote
Cutting, window, well, drainage, ladder, cover, permit, restoration — listed separately so you can compare it honestly against anyone else's bid, and so you can see what's included rather than guessing.
Permit, then schedule
We apply for the building permit and call MISS DIG 811 for utility locates. Once the permit is issued and locates are back, we schedule the work — usually one to two days on site.
